Cameron Drever - President - Commander in Chief
As a scenario paintball player I have always prided myself at being versatile and proficient at every position, a Jack of all Trades. My challenge has always been to become a master of every position. As a medium rifleman I can flank, suppress, run point and play the role of sniper. I can cover any position left empty by a downed comrade. I have played a variety of roles throughout the years including medic, radio operator, combat engineer and squad commander. I am always open to suggestions regarding a tactical approach and I am ready to adapt whenever necessary.
My paintball experiences began in Grade 7 at the age of 11 giving me 7 years of experience. I instantaneously fell in love with the teamwork, camaraderie, and exhilaration that came with the sport. Upon my arrival to Waterloo, I found that it lacked a paintball community that my previous school had. I worked with Dan, whom I had met from previous paintball excursions, and together we worked to establish the Waterloo Warlords Paintball Club. Our motto has always been 'Take the H.I.L.L'. We are always looking for Honesty, Integrity, Loyalty and Leadership in our members. I would expect nothing less from myself. I encourage you to give the sport of paintball a chance and hopefully I will get the opportunity to see you on the field. If you have any questions or comments about the club please feel free to contact me.
Daniel MacKenzie - Vice President - Task Force General
On the paintball field, I can play multiple role from acting as a commander to leading the charge to sneaking around the forest as a sniper. I feel that it's best to be able to fill in different positions to help balance out the team.
I started playing paintball back at the beginning of high school and it became a huge part of my life. I was actually surprised when I came here that Waterloo was missing such an important component to university life (it's a great stress release). So we started the club to help create a paintballing community here in Waterloo. We try to promote good, clean paintball through leading by example and encouraging new players to follow the same principles. So grab your gear and I'll see you on the field!
